Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb Extreme Eau de Parfum

Flowerbomb Extreme Eau de Parfum ($39 - $150; sephora.com) is a new launch from Viktor&Rolf, a warm fruity floral with notes of raspberry, rose absolute, vanilla bean, orange blossom and jasmine. The opening is a perfect mix of sweet and floral, without it being too heady or cloyingly sweet. The rose and raspberry stand out to me, but it does lean more sweet, compared to the original flowerbomb and isn’t heavy on the patchouli, like the original. I love the original flowerbomb as well and it is one of my go to fragrances for about anytime of the year, while this is more of a spring-summer pick for me. The drydown is soft and very slightly floral from the orange blossom and vanilla. While I can’t smell too much of the jasmine, it still is floral enough to keep it fresh, yet sophisticated much like the other Flowerbomb variants. I also think the longevity of this is great - I could get a whiff of the scent almost until the end of the day and the opaque pink bottle looks fabulous too. Definitely one of my top fragrance picks to checkout during the ongoing Sephora sale!

Aesop Aurner Eau de Parfum

Aurner Eau de Parfum ($200; shop.nordstrom.com) is a new launch from Aesop for spring, described as a warm, aromatic, woody floral for men and women. The fragrance notes incline cardamom, pink pepper, citrus, magnolia leaf, geranium, chamomile, sandalwood and cedar. The opening is rather floral and slightly zesty with just a hint of the cardamom. The Magnolia and Geranium are very prominent and settle down to a really nice, not so heady floral that is fresh and soft. The dry down brings out the woody notes with the sandalwood and cedar softening the floral notes. It is a unique woody floral that isn’t too intense, yet has great longevity. While described as unisex, it does lean more towards being a feminine scent. Overall, a pleasant woody floral for any time of the year that isn't too strong or intense, yet stays quite fresh through the dry down.

Make Up For Ever Super Boost Lightweight Moisturizing Skin Tint, Moisturizing & Plumping Lip Gloss

The Super Boost Lightweight Moisturizing Skin Tint ($36; sephora.com) and Super Boost Moisturizing & Plumping Lip Gloss ($26; sephora.com) are both new launches from Make Up For Ever for spring. The Super Boost Lightweight Moisturizing Skin Tint is a sheer, buildable skin tint with a natural, dewy finish. The shades 05 and 06 both work on me, 06 is a bit closer to my medium skin tone and blends flawlessly. I like to use a slightly dense blending brush, but fingers work too. The texture is a bit on the thinner side and perfect for my dry skin since it doesn’t enhance any texture or cling onto dry patches. I like to set it with a bit of powder like I always do with most bases. This is an easy to use, everyday, lightweight base that I’d recommend if you don’t like heavy foundations especially for the warmer weather.

The Super Boost Moisturizing & Plumping Lip Gloss is a fabulous, super moisturizing gloss with a sheer color payoff. I tried the shade Fiery Love and it is a warm, wearable terracotta with a gorgeous shine. I did not find this to be sticky or tacky and love the way it feels on my lips. Overall, the new Skin Boost launches are easy to use, just the kind of texture I like my products to be - lightweight, blendable and natural looking.
