New And New To Me Winter Skincare Finds For Dry Skin

A few new to me skincare finds and new skincare launches for the colder weather that I’ve been loving.

Spring 2025 Skincare Finds From ILIA, Beauty Stat, Paula's Choice, Bloomeffects

The Bloomeffects Royal Tulip Cleansing Jelly ($29; bloomeffects.com) has a lovely, jelly-like texture and cleanses away makeup beautifully. I use this all over my face and eyes and use a warm washcloth to remove it. It gets most of my makeup off including waterproof eye makeup that is longwearing. I do follow up with a mild second cleanser for squeaky clean skin. I also like that there’s barely any fragrance to it and the ingredients are clean as well. Since it isn’t harsh or drying, I love it for my skin and will continue using this throughout the year.

The ILIA Barrier Build Skin Protectant Cream ($64; sephora.com) is a rich, thick barrier cream that helps moisturize and retain moisture. I like this as a primer as well before makeup and the texture is fantastic when used by itself or under makeup.I love how lightweight it feels, yet is moisturizing and especially amazing on dry patches around my forehead and cheeks during the colder weather. It is a soothing, fragrance-free moisturizer for all skin types, particularly great for sensitive and dry skin.

The Paula’s Choice Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Gel-Cream Moisturizer (49; sephora.com) is also another great moisturizer I’ve been loving as part of my skincare rotation. The texture is more of a gel-cream that is quick absorbing and fragrance free. I like it by itself as a day or night time moisturizer and the pro-collagen peptide formula helps skin looking super bouncy, plump and hydrated. It is a great anti-aging product as well that adds firmness and elasticity without feeling heavy, greasy or sticky.

BeautyStat is a brand that is new to me and their products recently had a rebrand. The Universal C Skin Refiner ($62; beautystat.com) is a one of a kind Vitamin C that is super lightweight, non sticky and feels more like a primer than skincare. It has a sheer, smooth finish and targets dull skin, uneven pigmentation, spots and overall skin radiance. The 20% pure L-Ascorbic acid formula is quite potent yet doesn't feel very harsh or too much for my dry-sensitive skin. I will continue to use this and report back on results, but with limited use for a couple of weeks my skin does feel and look brighter and more radiant.

The BeautyStat Universal Triple Actinon Daily Peel ($29; beautystat.com) is one of my favorite, quick exfoliating peels that I absolutely love and recommend. It is an easy to use, swipe and go pad that I like to use after removing my makeup and cleansing my skin at night about 2-3 times a week. The formula is quite mild and leaves my skin feeling bright, even toned and smooth. The AHA-BHA combination works beautifully on lackluster skin and adds a bouncy, radiant glow which I love.
