Lip Lab’s Sketch & Shade Precision Cream Lip Liner ($25; liplab.com) is a soft, creamy, ultra defining lip liner that lines and shapes lips effortlessly. They come in six gorgeous, universally flattering shades. The formula is super creamy, so I’d recommend going very light handed since it is easy to over do and the super smooth tip is prone to breakage. The shape is nice for most lip contours and helps with an even line, especially around the edges. Modern Mocha is a great warm brown that is perfect for most medium-skin tones, while Romantic Rose is a cool toned rosy mauve that works for just about anyone. These have a soft focus velvet matte finish and great color payoff as well. They do help lipsticks from moving around and feathering too much. I also love the sleek rose gold packaging.
