A quick roundup of some new budget friendly beauty finds that I've been recently loving.
Burt's Bees Gloss & Glow Glossy Balm ($6; burtsbees.com) is one of my favorite affordable sheer lip products. It's affordable, comes in wearable colors and feels super moisturizing. I love the color Chai Time especially which is a perfect neutral for every day wear. The glossy finish looks gorgeous and is such an easy product for on the go.
The Nail Art Studio Jelly Gloss Polish ($12;99; essie.com) is new from essie, a beautifully sheer, yet buildable jelly nail color. The pastels are very flattering on most skin tones. I used two coats for the swatches below and the coverage is quite good for a jelly finish.
The Hydra Kiss Lip Oil ($4;99; ulta.com) is a great budget friendly lip oil from essence. The color Pink Champagne goes on clear, but turns into a beautiful sheer pink after a while. I love how moisturizing it feels and like to use it by itself or over lip products or just paired with a lip liner. It is scented like most lip oils but the scent does tend to fade after a while.
The Sephora Collection Moisturizing Lip Balm in Cherry ($7; sephora.com) is a sheer tinted lip balm that is perfect for a no makeup look. The formula is quite moisturizing and feels very comfortable on the lips. The color is rather sheer, but easy to swipe and go.
The Conair Basik Edition Scalp Massage Brush ($5.99; ulta.com) has been a part of my haircare routine for a few weeks now and I love it. The bristles are not too sharp and I use it to massage my scalp when dry, but it also works well while shampooing. It's a great way to stimulate your scalp and promote circulation.
Olive & June ($7.49; target.com) makes some super gorgeous nail colors in a fantastic formula and I tried a few of their cremes. I love the opacity and how smooth and easy the formula is. The color selection is amazing too and the brush is very nice to use even for a beginner.
The Essence Lash Princess Eyelash Primer ($4.99; ulta.com) is a nice eyelash primer that I like to use before mascara to hold my curl. I have short stubby lashes and this helps curl them well and adds a bit of length as well. I have used it with mediocre mascaras and have had great luck with adding separation and volume.
