Clarins’ Hydra-Essential Silky Moisturizer With Double Hyaluronic Acid ($49. clarinsusa.com) is a new, intensely hydrating moisturizer for dry skin and I am loving it as part of my skincare routine. The texture is truly silky and luxurious and it works well on its own or under makeup. I personally don't mind fragrance in my skincare and this one has a nice scent that doesn't linger around for too long. It's a rich, yet non greasy cream for the day and night. The formula instantly plumps skin and makes a nice canvas for makeup especially if you have combination-dry skin. I also feel that a little bit goes a really long way and after using it for a good few weeks I’m not even halfway through the jar yet. I can also see this working well for most skin types without becoming oily throughout the day. Overall, I will definitely recommend, if you are looking for a hydrating, plumping moisturizer especially if you have normal-dry skin, but like lightweight hydration without the greasiness.
