Some brand new launches and new to me skin and body care discoveries with some quick thoughts!
The Paula’s Choice Omega + Complex Cleansing Balm ($29; sephora.com) is one of my favorite cleansing balms for dry skin. A little goes a really long way and it breaks down makeup without stripping skin of moisture. I love the balmy texture and how nice it feels on my dry skin. I use a warm washcloth to remove and follow up with a second cleanser.
The Peptides + C Energy Eye Concentrate ($48; sephora.com) is a new launch from YTTP and is a brightening, moisturizing under eye cream. The texture is super lightweight and quick absorbing. It has a sheer finish and doesn’t feel heavy even under makeup. I use it morning and night and it has helped by making my under eye area feel more moisturized and less tired.
The Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Advanced Repair Barrier Cream ( $48; sephora.com) is a great moisturizer for sensitive skin or anyone with a compromised skin barrier. It's a soothing, calming moisturizer that absorbs quickly and delivers a nice dose of moisture for all skin types.
The Pink Drink Firming Resurfacing Peptide Mist ($48; sephora.com) by Sunday Riley is a firming peptide mist that helps add a layer of moisture before moisturizer while delivering a dose of peptides. It plumps up my skin and helps my moisturizer and makeup go on better. I also like how non-sticky and lightweight it feels under makeup.
The Goldfaden MD Body Surge Hydrating & Restoring Body Moisturizer ($65; goldfadenmd.com) is a fabulous new body moisturizer that I'm currently loving. It helps quickly moisturize my dry skin and is fast absorbing. There’s a very mild scent that isn't bothersome at all. It also doubles up as a fantastic hand cream.
Sunday Riley’s CEO Afterglow ($65; sephora.com) is a brightening moisturizer for dry, aging skin. It has a bright yellow color and is infused with an advanced Vitamin C (THD Ascorbate) to brighten, even skin out and moisturize. It's a nice moisturizer for drier skin types although a bit overpriced for what it does. It's not a miracle cure for all my skin concerns, but I like it on rotation with other moisturizers. I personally don’t mind the scent, but it can be a little too much for some.
The Pedestrian Project Walker’s Cream ($12; amazon.com) is a rich foot cream for dry, tired feet. It's infused with African Shea Butter and Aloe Vera that help soften and moisturize without being too heavy or sticky. It's especially formulated for thick, dry skin on the feet and does take a while to get absorbed so I would recommend it towards the end of the day.
