Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid ($168; sephora.com) is a floral fruity gourmand fragrance launched late last year. It's a sweet, slightly fruity concoction with notes of peach, vine, orchid and vanilla bean. The bottle in pink is gorgeous and the fragrance itself is true to its description and perfect for fall-winter, well into late spring. The opening is quite strong, but more fruitier than the classic Flowerbomb and more sweet. As the fragrance settles into my skin, I get the peach and vanilla, which makes the dry down warm and cozy. There’s no patchouli in here, so the scent remains sweet for the most part, but not cloying. The staying power is good, not as much as the original Flowerbomb, but definitely lingers on for a good 7-8 hours. If you like a sweet, yet sophisticated floral fragrance with a cozy vanilla dry down for this time of the year, I’d recommend checking out Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid!
