Narciso Rodriguez is one of my favorite fragrance brands and their newest Musc Noir Rose For Her ($110; shop.nordstorm.com) is a fantastic amber floral composition that works well as a year round fragrance. The notes include Plum, Pink Pepper, Bergamot, Musk, Rose and Tuberose and Vanilla. I love the opening that is fruity and slightly floral with the pink pepper and plum being the prominent notes. It isn't cloying but is sweet enough to feel like a feminine floral fragrance. As the fragrance dries down, it turns into a sophisticated floral with the rose and bergamot coming through. The dry down also has hints of musk and vanilla that give it a creamy, cozy feel making it also perfect for the fall-winter. Like all other Narciso Fragrances, this one too is fantastic and very long wearing on me, even on a hot and humid day. If you like sophisticated fruity florals that aren't too sweet and have a creamy dry down, I’d definitely recommend Musc Noir Rose.
