Benefit’s Watt's Up! ($30; sephora.com) is a classic champagne pearl that is quite flattering on a variety of skin tones. It's Benefit’s best seller for a reason and I absolutely love the natural sheen on this one sans any chunky shimmer or glitter. It blends beautifully and has a natural looking dewy finish without emphasizing pores and imperfections, perfect for dry skin. Easily blendable with fingers or the sponge applicator it comes with.
The Valentino V-Lighter Face Primer and Highlighter in Ambra ($58; sephora.com) is another favorite of mine when it comes to liquid highlighters. The glow on this one is super flattering on medium-dark skin tones and can be mixed with foundations, used as a primer or over makeup as a liquid highlighter. It blends beautifully and the formula doesn’t have any visible chunky glitter.
The Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette in Glitz ($45; sephora.com) has shades that I can use for my eyes and face. The formula is super creamy, almost like a cream to powder finish and the shimmer is fine, although it is easy to go overboard with this one. I use a fluffy brush to apply this highlighter and I can see how this would flatter a variety of skin tones and can be mixed and matched as well.
Giorgio Armani’s Fluid Sheer Glow Enhancer Highlighter in Champagne Gold ($28; sephora.com) is a sheer liquid highlighter that can also be used alone or mixed in with base products. This shade is flattering on most skin tones and I found the formula to be a bit more sheer compared to other liquid highlighters I have tried. I have dry skin and prefer using this mixed in with foundations than as a highlighter on top of makeup. The texture is easier to work with this way and the shimmer looks more subtle. It can also be mixed with cream blushes to create a soft sheen.
