Lancome recently relaunched their L’Absolu Rouge Lipstick ($32; lancome-usa.com) in 39 gorgeous shades and two finishes - cream and matte. The Cream finish is a true cream with buildable coverage and smooth, even application. The Drama Matte is a satin matte that feels weightless and comfortable for a matte. The packaging is beautiful and the formula features hyaluronic acid and rose balm to provide a comfortably moisturizing finish for hours. Neither the cream nor the drama matte move around too much or bleed outside the lip lines, but I like pairing them with a lip liner for a defined look. I also absolutely love the neutrals in the cream range and think there’s at least one wearable everyday nude for everyone. The pigmentation on these is fantastic and the matte formula leaves behind a light stain on the lips while the color fades. They do have a slight fragrance to them that doesn’t bother me so much since it does dissipate after a while. Overall, beautiful formula, amazing color range and packaging. I’d definitely recommend trying at least a shade or two!
