ISPY December Glam Bag. This month’s galm bag has a really nice selection of skincare and makeup with a lot of new brands worth discovering. I’m surprised each month by what I discover in IPSY’s subscription boxes and I have found many new brands as well. It's a great gift to give that can also be curated every month for any beauty lover.
The Tutti Gel-Powder Highlighter By Haus Labs ($45; hauslabs.com) is a gorgeous gel to powder highlighter with a super soft, creamy texture. It can be applied with the highlighter brush or fingers as well. It blends beautifully and seamlessly on the skin and the shimmer translates to a sheen without any visible glitter. I also love the Italian Glam Highlighter Brush ($20; hauslabs.com) which helps blend powder highlighters and eyeshadows evenly.
The Lanolips Fruity Babies Trio ($13; target.com) is a cute little trio of three of Lano’s multitasking 101 Superbalms. I use these on my lips mostly, but they can be used as an all purpose balm on chapped spots, cuticles and more. I don’t find the scent on these to be overwhelming and they are amazing for this time of the year. The Bronze Gold 101 Ointment ($16.95; ulta.com) is also new from Lano and the perfect bronze gold for any skin tone. I do prefer this on my lips than on my cheeks though and it is very moisturizing with a naturally dewy finish that I really like.
The OPI Holiday 2021 Celebration Collection ($10.79; ulta.com) is beautifully festive for the holidays and the mix of holos and creams in there are perfect even for layering. The formula is smooth, even and quick drying without streaking or bubbling too much. I also like the wide brush that is quick and easy to paint with.
