Some fabulous luxury skincare that I’ve recently discovered and love!
The Lancome Advanced Genifique Eye Cream ($68; sephora.com) has been on my skincare rotation the past couple of months. It's a rich cream that nourishes, hydrates and keeps my eye area looking less tired. I love the consistency of this one - it's creamy and rich, but also absorbs quickly and does not leave any greasy residue behind. It's also fabulous for under makeup and does not make my concealer settle into fine lines. The Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid help lighten dark circles and with dryness. I use this both morning and night and would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting a lightweight yet rich eye cream.
Neostrata is a brand that is new to me and I tried a couple of their newest launches targeted at dry skin with anti-aging benefits. The Hydra Filling Cream ($52; neostrata.com) is a fantastic daytime moisturizer that is lightweight yet moisturizing. It has a mild scent that isn’t bothersome and a gel-cream texture that is quick absorbing. The Hydra Filling Eye Cream ($54; neostrata.com) is also a great eye cream for anyone with fine lines, tiredness or just dryness. I also like how these are perfect for the daytime and under makeup as well.
The Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream ($42; sephora.com) is another great moisturizer that I absolutely love. It has a very pleasant rose scent that isn't overwhelming and is super moisturizing without the greasiness. It's been a staple in my skincare routine for a couple of months now.
Kate Somerville’s Exfolikate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment ($88; sephora.com) is one of the brand’s best selling skincare products and one of my most used exfoliators. It’s a physical and chemical exfoliator in one that I leave on for about a minute or two and wash off. I like to use this in the shower since the steam from the shower helps the product work better and leaves my skin feeling super glowy and smooth. I also love to follow this up with the Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Glow Moisturizer ($70; sephora.com) which is fantastic for adding radiance and brightening skin, while evening out the texture.
I have also been using the Kate Somerville DeliKate Soothing Cleanser ($40; sephora.com) as part of my cleanser rotation and as a second cleanser since it is super gentle and non-stripping. It doesn’t foam as much, but is very hydrating and perfect when used after a balm or oil cleanser.
