Youth To The People Mandelic Acid + Superfood Unity Exfoliant ($38; sephora.com) is a fantastic, gentle, liquid chemical exfoliator with three percent AHA, two percent BHA, and one percent PHA with superfood antioxidant. It is truly gentle on my dry, sensitive skin and I use it a few times a week. I use it on a reusable cotton pad and swipe it all over my face after cleansing, at night. It doesn’t sting, feel sticky or strip my skin of moisture. It exfoliates beautifully to remove dullness, brightens skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth. I like how nicely my moisturizer absorbs afterwards. My makeup goes on nicely the next day too. I haven’t been disappointed with any Youth To The People product so far and their exfoliants are among the best I have tried. Although this is recommended to be used everyday, I use it about 3-4 days a week and follow up with sunscreen during the daytime. Overall, I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a gentle exfoliant that brightens, evens skin tone and smoothes skin texture sans the harsh ingredients and irritation!
