The Storie di Seta Fragrance Collection ($112; shop.nordstrom.com) is a new summer launch from Salvatore Ferragamo. The collection features four fragrances inspired by Ferragamo’s iconic silk creations. They can be worn alone or layered and blended to create a unique, custom scent. Giardini di Seta is a sweet, light concoction and the notes include rhubarb, cherry blossom and Madagascar vetiver. It is light and fresh with a woody, soft dry down. Giungla di Seta is an exotic floral with notes of green pea, peony flowers and musk. It's a perfect spring-summer scent that is earthy and vibrant. Savane di Seta is one of my favorites with a dominant Indian Sandalwood note that makes it a soft, yet energetic, musky scent that I would wear just about any time of the year. The notes include Indian sandalwood, carrot accord, orris. Oceani di Seta is described as an aquatic floral with notes of salty accord, magnolia petals, heliotrope. This one is more of a unisex fragrance than the others and has a brilliant, airy dry down. Overall, I absolutely love this collection, the fabulous packaging and prefer the fragrances by themselves, although I would custom blend from time to time for longevity. I like how there is one for everyone’s preference and how unique and fresh the fragrances are for anytime of the year.
