Butter By Keba is a brand that is new to me and I recently tried out a couple of products from their fragranced body care line. The Lotus Nut Body Butter ($32; butterbykeba.com) is an ultra rich, moisturizing body butter with a gorgeous, slightly heady, floral scent. The fragrance is perfect for spring-summer with notes of Jasmine and Rose with a hint of creamy coconut. The texture is balmy and thick, but melts upon application and helps instantly moisturize dry spots. The formulation is free of petrolatum, mineral oil and paraffin and the fragrances are from natural essentials oils with no synthetic components. If you have a sensitive nose, the fragrance can be a tad strong and also since the texture is thick, a little bit goes a really long way. This body butter also doubles up as a hand cream in the winter. The Unity Code Eau de Parfum ($22 - $68; butterbykeba.com) is a gender neutral fragrance with notes of grapefruit, cedar wood, fig, cactus flower, palo santo, vetiver and patchouli. It is a tad patchouli heavy with a touch of the citrus, but perfect for the fall-winter when I tend to gravitate towards heavier, less floral scents with better longevity. Overall, I’m really impressed with what I've tried so far from the brand and would definitely recommend, especially the body butters for a luxuriously moisturizing treat.
