The Forever Skin Glow Foundation ($52; sephora.com) is one of Dior’s new foundation launches, a sheer-medium coverage dewy formula that comes in 27 shades. I picked up the shade 4N, which is an almost perfect match for my medium-dark skin tone. I also picked up their Backstage Full Coverage Liquid Foundation Brush No.12 ($45; dior.com), which is a slightly dense foundation brush that works well with liquid and cream products. The foundation has a really nice texture that is blendable and looks natural even on dry, textured skin. The finish isn’t very dewy, rather a satin finish with a natural sheen. The pump packaging is really nice and the product itself doesn’t oxidize much or settle too much into fine lines and imperfections. I do prefer finishes like these that are sheer, but buildable and not full coverage. The No.12 Foundation Brush is a nice brush for liquid or cream products like foundation, cream/liquid blushes and fluid highlighters. It is made from synthetic fibers and is of medium density. It isn’t the softest, but blends products in nicely. I am a brush snob and have tried a ton of natural and synthetic brushes and did find this to be a bit scratchy at times, but it is very well made and has held up pretty well even after a good few washes. Overall, these two make a good pair for foundation application. You could even use your fingers for applying this foundation as the texture is very fluid like. I wouldn't say the brush is a must have, the foundation is definitely worth trying out if you have dry skin and want a natural looking foundation with medium coverage.

I'm yet to try any dior base products (I've only tried their highlighter kit) but I've heard nothing but incredible things about their foundations. x

Their base products are fabulous, if you can find a shade that matches your skintone! :)
