Codex Beauty is a brand new to me and I recently tried out a few of their skincare pieces from the Bia Discovery Set ($55; skinstore.com). The sizes are perfect for travel and they come packaged inside the most beautifully well made organic cotton bag. The set includes an Exfoliating Wash, Day Cream, Eye Gel and Skin Superfood.The Exfoliating Wash is a physical exfoliator with teeny tiny jojoba grains and can be used as an everyday wash. I like it on days when I have no makeup or as a second cleanser. I don’t use it everyday, rather twice a week at most. The Day Cream is a lightweight day cream and similar to the Eye Gel and has a gel-cream consistency. I think these are great for anyone with combination or normal skin and for the spring/summertime when the weather isn’t too crazy dry. The Skin Superfood is nourishing treatment for the face and body and is more of a thicker cream that can be used in the winter. Overall, these are some really nice skincare products from the brand and something to try if you are curious about Codex Beauty. This set is a good way of trying the products out before splurging on full sizes. My favorites from the set are the Exfoliating Cleanser and the Skin Superfood.
