The L’Oreal Le Liner Signature Mechanical Liner ($10.99; ulta.com) is an easy glide mechanical liner that comes in six bold shades. It is waterproof and does not move around much once set. The formula seems consistent and it is quite pigmented for the lash and waterlines. It does set quite fast so blending as soon as applying it works well if you want a softer, smudgy look. The colors are all great for the waterline and make for a quick smokey eye since all of them are dark enough to add depth. While the black isn’t a jet black (Noir Cashmere), it is a softer alternative that doesn’t look too harsh or emphasize fine lines around the lower lashline. I love the twist up packaging and the color range. Taupe Grey Tweed especially is a unique color that is a fabulous alternative to black or brown. Overall, these are great for the price and work well for the lash and waterline with minimal smudging or fading throughout the day!
