The Super Multi Corrective Anti-Aging Cream ($68; kiehls.com) is one of my favorite moisturizers from Kiehl’s and their new and improved formula is targeted at anyone with dull, dry skin that could use a moisture boost. The new formula features Chaga Mushroom and Hyaluronic Acid that helps with hydration, fine lines, texture and dullness. It feels a bit more emollient than the older formula and also wears well under makeup. The texture feels richer, but not greasy or oily. There’s a slightly strong, herbal scent to the product, something to keep in mind if you have a sensitive nose, but I found that the scent dissipates once the product absorbs completely. I prefer this as a day cream, but it would work fabulously as a night cream as well and would layer well with oils and serums too, if you have dry skin. I have this on rotation with a few other moisturizers and it is something I have used since the mid of summer and would in the winter as well since my skin is super dry during the colder months. As for me, I love both the old and newer formula, the older formula is something that works year round and for most skin types, while this richer texture is great for drier skin types.
