The Baylis & Harding Goodness Natural Handwash in Lemongrass & Ginger ($5.99; target.com) is a fabulous hand wash that is a vegan formula, free of sulfates and perfectly priced. I love the bottle design and how pretty it looks on my sink. Lemongrass and Ginger is a great fresh, zesty scent that lingers on for quite a bit after hand washing. It's a fantastic, moisturizing hand wash with a great formula and ingredients.
Spongelle Hand Defense Buffers ($14; spongelle.com) - these are a great replacement for regular handwashes. It foams up pretty well and cleanses without stripping. I also think it lasts longer and the scents are fresh . It can be a bit difficult to store, which is my only qualm. But they are a good, exfoliating, non-drying hand wash replacement that cleanses thoroughly.
Aveeno makes some great haircare and their Cotton Blend Lightweight Conditioning Mist ($12; amazon.com) and Oat Milk Blend Overnight Oats Hair Mask ($7; walmart.com) have both been my favorites for this time of the year. The Cotton Blend Lightweight Conditioning Mist is a hydrating leave in conditioner in the form of a fine mist that never leaves my hair greasy or weighed down. I use it while air drying and as a pre styling mist. The Oat Milk Blend Hair Mask is an overnight mask that can be washed off the next day followed by shampoo and conditioner for smooth, frizz free hair. It is non-sticky, lightweight and washes off easily. I have also had great luck using this as a regular hair mask after shampooing.
GSQ by Glamsquad is sold exclusively at CVS and their new hair accessories for summer is both stylish and affordable. I love the Gold Half Moon Clip ($7.99; cvs.com) to hold my hair in place instead of a ponytail, while the Knotted Scarf Scrunchie ($9.99; cvs.com) is a very chic trend that helps spice up regular ponytails and doesn't have a very tight hold. The Rhinestone Hair Clips ($7.99; cvs.com) have the perfect grip with the right amount of bling.
Thayers’ Natural Spray Deodorant ($12; amazon.com) is a witch hazel based, natural deodorant in spray form, free of aluminum salts and helps fight body odor and comes in a fragrance free version too. I quite like this one on not so humid days and think its a gentle formula for everyone. The Blemish Clearing Cleanser ($14; amazon.com) is new from Thayers, part of the Blemish Clearing line that I like to use this as my second cleanser about twice a week to keep tiny breakouts at bay in the summer. I do have combination-dry skin and don’t find this very drying, but I also don't use it everyday. It is fragrance free and doesn't strip skin of moisture like a lot of products that are formulated for blemish prone skin.
