The GIVENCHY Teint Couture City Balm Radiant Perfecting Skin Tint SPF 25 ($47; sephora.com) is a lightweight, balmy tinted moisturizer that I’m absolutely loving at the moment. It seems to have replaced my favorite Teint Couture Blurring Foundation Balm from Givenchy. While I don’t think its all that similar in formulation, I love this one as well. The Teint Couture Blurring Balm is more “balm-like”, thicker while this one feels a tad thinner in consistency, yet covers nicely and is buildable. The coverage is medium and the finish is more satin, so I’d recommend a light dusting of powder to just set it in. It blends in beautifully and doesn’t have a white cast besides the SPF. I initially picked up the shade N300, which seems to be a little too light for me and finally ended up picking N312 which is perfect for me this time of the year. I love the sleek tube and pump packaging. My skin is dry-combination in the summer and this one felt comfortable, did not show my dry patches and neither did it get oily. While I do miss the Foundation Balm, I think this is a good replacement and a very lightweight, non-cakey base for anyone who doesn’t like the heavy feel of full-coverage foundations.
