The Strength + Length Golden Turmeric Collection ($6.99 each; ulta.com) is a new haircare launch from OGX that has been on my regular shampoo/conditioner rotation the past couple of months. The formula is sulfate-free and cleanses gently without striping my hair. The shampoo is a rather thick, concentrated formula and a little goes a really long way. For a sulfate-free shampoo, it lathers up pretty well and washes off clean, without any residue. The conditioner does a great job at detangling and is easy to rinse off. It isn’t as heavy as a mask, but does a nice job of adding moisture back and keeps the ends looking well hydrated.
The Air Dry Cream is a great leave in product that also works as a pre blow dry balm. It doesn't weigh my hair down and makes it soft and frizz free. It also does a great job of taming flyaways on dry hair. The whole range smells fantastic and the scent lingers on for a few hours.
In addition to the Golden Turmeric line OGX also launched a hair styling collection - the Argan Oil Of Morocco Dry Oil Shine Mist and Multi-Benefit Hair Spray ($6.99; target.com) are a couple of other new launches that I have been loving as well. The Dry Oil Shine Mist is great to be used on dry hair and adds a lot of shine and softness without crunchiness. The Multi-Benefit Hairspray is something that I like to use on styled hair to add some softness, shine and to maintain styles longer without changing the texture of my hair. It doesn’t have a very strong hold, yet controls frizz without causing buildup.
