The
Super Lustrous Melting Glass Shine Lipsticks ($9.99; ulta.com) are a fairly new lipstick launch by Revlon. The formula is glossy, sheer and super easy to effortlessly swipe and go. It's a super balmy, lightweight lipstick that moisturizers with a nice wash of color. The pigmentation is buildable and I also don't detect any strong scent from the lipstick. I love sheer lipsticks, they are my go to for everyday and I also like how they don’t need a gloss over them. These are quite glossy, have an emollient texture and don’t feel waxy or greasy at the same time. That being said, I wish the packaging was a lot easier to deal with. The actual packaging as such is fine, but the sticker that goes over the lipstick so as to seal it is almost impossible to get off and leaves behind a sticky mess. I had decent luck with rubbing alcohol to get the sticky residue off and also using a small knife to cut across the sticker without removing it completely helps with keeping the lipstick tube looking neat. That apart, I have to say that the formula, colors and texture of the lipstick is on par with some of the high end ones I have tried and would definitely recommend these for the price if you can overlook the packaging qualms. I picked up a couple of more shades and will review/swatch those soon!
