Super Lustrous The Luscious Mattes ($9; target.com) are a new satin matte lipstick launch from Revlon. The color range varies from nudes to mid tone pinks to plums, reds and even some fun colors like a pigment packed purple and black. The formula is very weightless and opaque in one swipe. It's a satin matte lipstick with good staying power. I tried out a few shades from the range - Pick Me Up, a pale nude, Candy Addict, pale pink, Rhythm and Blues , blue-purple, On Fire, a fiery, pigment packed red and Hot Date, a Hot Pink. I did not need a lip liner since these don’t bleed as much, but they do leave a nice stain behind, especially the darker colors. Not too much of a waxy feel, but good enough to keep lips feeling comfortable. Overall, a really nice formula from Revlon if you like the matte trend without having to deal with a super drying texture. It feels more like a weightless cream with a satin matte finish.
