Spicebomb Night Vision ($80 - $98; sephora.com) and Flowerbomb Midnight ($115 - $165; sephora.com) are both great new fall fragrances from Viktor&Rolf. Spicebomb Night Vision is quite different from the original Spicebomb, as it has more of a citrusy-fresh opening with a musky-vanilla dry down. This concoction also features notes of Green Cardamom, Green Mandarin, Grapefruit, Clove, Nutmeg, Sage, Geranium, Roasted Almonds and Tonka Bean Absolute. While it is a perfect late summer-fall scent, the longevity is much less than that of the original Spicebomb and the fragrance itself is lighter. Flowerbomb Midnight is a sweet, spicy, comforting, warm fragrance that is perfect for this time of the year and feels like a lighter take on the classic Flowerbomb. This one has notes of Black Currant, Pomegranate, Night Blooming Jasmine, Peony, Vanilla and White Musk. It is a tad more fruity and less patchouli-esque compared to the original Flowerbomb, while not too cloyingly sweet. The opening is more floral, but also not too heady and the dry down that brings out the creamy vanilla and musk almost feels like a gourmand.
