The Adaptogen Soothe +Hydrate Activated Mist ($42; sephora.com) is an ultra fine hydrating and calming mist from Youth To The People and their newest launch to their awesome, clean skincare line. It has a blend of antioxidant rich adaptogens, hyaluronic acid and peptides and works like a serum, in a mist form. Its the perfect concoction for dry skin and feels amazing on a hot and humid day. I don’t refrigerate mine, but I think you can if you like your mists cold. This helps calm my skin down when irritated, so if you have redness issues, its a good one to look into. I have dry skin and I love this before moisturizer, sometimes mid day as well. The mist is very fine, there’s a scent that I’m not a huge fan of, but dissipates in a while. It isn’t sticky, but will take a bit of time to sink in, so I try to apply moisturizer, while it feels emollient. Overall, a good toner/pre moisturizer step that is great for dry/sensitive skin and a year round skincare product.
