The Cake Eye Pencil in Trooper Black ($19; sephora.com) and the Kat Von D Lock-It-Powder Foundation ($36; sephora.com) are two new products from Kat Von D that I'm currently loving. The Lock-It-Powder Foundation is a long wear foundation that I wear more like a setting powder with a fluffy powder brush. Its a medium-full coverage foundation/powder that covers pretty well and has great staying power. It does have that slight powdery look that settles down after a few minutes. Its a good setting powder for me since I have dry skin and a good foundation for anyone with oily/combination skin and also a good long wearing one too. I wear the shade Medium 155 which is a perfect match for me and I also love the extensive shade range that covers a wide range of skintones. The Cake Eye Pencil in Trooper Black is a super pigmented, jet black, matte liner for the lash and waterline. It has a thick, cake-y texture but glides effortlessly. It lasts for a good 5-6 hours on my waterline and is a great liner for anyone wanting a quick smokey eye or something intense for your lash and waterline.
