I’ve discovered a few new and amazing under $10 finds this spring from some brands new to me, so here’s a quick roundup.
Marc Anthony Professional’s Dream Big Volume ($8.99 each. walgreens.com) is a beautiful range formulated for hair that gets flat and weighed down easily. I love that it cleanses without making my hair greasy. The Shampoo and Conditioner and very lightweight, while the Thickening Cream is great as a pre blowout balm or while air drying.
Dial’s Silk Serum Body Washes ($3; target.com) are moisturizing cleansers for the body that are budget friendly and come in some great scents. They are also infused with silk serum so don’t feel too drying for this time of the year and cleanse thoroughly without feeling greasy.
The Blue Agave and Baking Soda is a new range of cleansers and masks from Biore at the drugstore. The range is formulated for combination skin and isn’t too drying. The Balancing Pore Cleanser ($5.99; target.com) is good as a second cleanser, but for my dry-ish skin for this time of the year, I do need to follow up with a rich moisturizer afterwards. The Whipped Nourishing Detox Mask ($6.49; target.com) is perfect for combination skin since it isn;t like a traditional clay mask and balances the skin without stripping too much.
The Wonder Drops Hair Masks ($3.49; cvs.com) are travel friendly hair masks from John Frieda. I have so far tried the Frizz Smoothing one and it is great for after a clarifying shampoo when my hair needs some extra moisture. I would recommend this as needed or just weekly since it can weigh down thinner hair and make your scalp greasy. It does detangle really well and add a lot of shine.
The Tea Tree Lemon Sage and Apple Cider Vinegar Scalp Scrubs ($7.99 each; Whole Foods) are two new launches from Renpure that is now available at Whole Foods. They are amazing as a weekly once treatment and balance the scalp really well and don’t make it itchy or dry. Renpure recommends using it like a hair cleanser, but I did end up using a shampoo as well since these don’t lather too much and I did have to use quite a bit each time. That apart, I do love them since they add a lot of volume at the scalp after cleansing and smell great.
The Stroke Of Gorgeous Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil ($5; walmart.com) is a long wearing, smooth eyeliner pencil from Hard Candy. Twisted-Grape is a stunning purple with an iridescent sheen. The formula is a great, does not budge and will need a good eye makeup remover/oil to completely get off.
