I’ve been testing out these five new skincare launches for the past few weeks and quite loving some of these new discoveries. A quick roundup of what’s new and worth trying out!
The Anthelios 50 Mineral Sunscreen-Gentle Lotion with CELL-OX Shield ($29.99; laroche-posay.us) is new from La Roche Posay and a mineral based sunscreen with a super gentle formula. Its a slightly thicker lotion and does a great job of protecting my skin. It does have a slightly white-ish cast because of the physical sunscreen, but it is something that I’d be using all summer long.
The Immortelle Precious Light Cream SPF20 ($65; usa.loccitane.com) is new from L’occitane and a lightweight cream for the day formulated with SPF 20. I love the ultra light, quick absorbing whipped texture and the mild scent. Its a gorgeous cream for all through the year and my dry-ish skin loves it as an everyday cream for the daytime that also wears well under makeup.
BeautyPrep Hyaluronic Serum ($52; janeiredale.com) is new from Jane Iredale that is a lightweight, moisturizing serum and perfect as a primer too. A little goes a really long way with this one and it doesn’t feel greasy or heavy at all. Perfect for use all through the year to be layered with other skincare than on its own.
The Vitabrid C12 Facial Boosting Water($28; barneys.com) is a hydrating toner formulated with peptides and hyaluronic acid. Its a pH balancing toner that is the second step of skincare and helps with boosting any skincare regime. I love this one and how non-sticky it feels and just adds an extra layer of moisture, especially good for this time of the year.
The Toleriane Ultra Eyes ($24.99; laroche-posay.us) is another fantastic product from La Roche Posay for sensitive skin and is formulated fragrance-free for the under eye area. It is super light, sits well under makeup and is a basic, hydrating eye cream for anyone. The new packaging with the pump makes it super easy to dispense and the gel-cream texture is also wonderful if you want something non-greasy.
