The Crushed Crystal Collection ($12.99; target.com) is a gorgeous four piece holiday collection of the Essie Concrete Glitters that just launched. The mini sizes in this kit are not too small and perfect if you never ever finish a nail polish. The finish is a satin matte loaded with very dimensional glitter and the formula is fully opaque in two even coats. All of these were easy to work with and also great when layered over nudes. The formula was uniformly smooth and while the finish looks textured, it can look a lot more shiny with a glossy top coat. Overall, a fun little collection for the holiday season. I do prefer my creams and shimmers over textured polishes since they are a tad high maintenance, but these do have an amazing formula and look fabulous when layered on over cremes.
