Honest Beauty has recently revamped their beauty line with newer formulas, fresh products and packaging. The new packaging looks very minimalistic, clean and chic. A quick review of what I tried from the line with photos, swatches!
The Everything Primer Matte ($21.99; honestbeauty.com) is a pore perfecting primer that leaves a satin matte finish. The finish isn’t overly matte and perfect for foundations and tinted moisturizers. Its a smooth canvas that helps product glide on easily.
The Eyeshadow Palette ($19.99; honestbeauty.com) is a neutral eyeshadow palette with a mix of matte and shimmer/glitter finishes. The shadows themselves are pretty pigmented and the colors are very flattering nudes for my skin tones. Some of the colors do have a bit of fallout, but that apart, its a great, everyday neutral palette.
The Creme Cheek Blush ($12.99; honestbeauty.com) is a gorgeous cream blush with a smooth, blendable texture and dewy finish. I absolutely love this one and it is one of my favorites from the product line. Peony Pink is a beautiful mid tone pink that looks fabulous when blended. Its also super easy to use.
The Extreme Length Mascara + Primer ($14.99; honestbeauty.com) is a mascara/primer in one. I have very short, stubby lashes and this is more of a lengthening mascara for me than volumizing. It does not flake or smudge, and is a good pick if you have decent lashes and just want a little tweak.
The Truly Kissable Lip Crayons ($12.99; honestbeauty.com) are another great find that I am loving. They come in two finishes - demi matte, which is more of a satin and sheer glossy. They are easy to use, the shape defines lips well and the formula feels comfortable to use.
Overall, I am very impressed with the new Honest Beauty line and would absolutely recommend if you are looking for an affordable, clean beauty brand with a great selection of products, both formula and shade-wise.
