Neo Nude is a gorgeous summer collection from Giorgio Armani Beauty with focus on flawless complexion. The collection features Powders, Liquid Blushes, Highlighters and Balms in sheer textures for a very natural, barely there makeup look. I tried out the A-Blushes ($38; www.giorgioarmanibeauty-usa.com) and the Neo Nude Compact ($58; www.giorgioarmanibeauty-usa.com) from the line and love them both. The A-Blushes have a very blendable, liquid-gel texture that blends seamlessly onto the skin and gives off a hint of color. I like to use a flat foundation or a stippling brush to blend these out. Fingers work well too. I would definitely recommend one of these if you like cream blushes and want something very naturally dewy looking. The Neo Nude Compact is an all over finishing face powder that I use more like a setting powder or as a final step. Its quite sheer and the color 6.5 is a good match for me at the moment since I am pretty tan. Its a sheer powder that can be built upto medium coverage and works great over cream bases and lightweight textures like BB Creams or tinted moisturizers. I like to use a less dense, fluffy brush with this and really like the overall subtle glow it delivers. Overall, I’m quite impressed with these since I am always looking for makeup that looks like skin and the A-Blushes especially are fabulous!
