L’Eau d’Issey Pure Nectar de Parfum ($89; ulta.com) is Issey Miyake’s newest fragrance this Spring. Its woody-floral, a soft, sweet floral composition with notes of Pear, Bergamot, Honey, Rose, Peony, Cashmeran, Ambergris, Sandalwood, White Musk and Violet. The fragrance this time comes in a gorgeous rose gold bottle and the notes, although quite different, does remind me a lot of the original especially after the dry down. The opening is a lot sweeter, softer, less heady and even a tad more citrusy, but the dry down is quite the same as the classic L’Eau d’Issey, but just a touch more softer because of the sandalwood and musk. The faint hint of violet gives it a gorgeous, floral touch making this a really nice pick for the warmer season ahead.
