Some fabulous under $10 beauty bits I'm currently loving!
The JASON Nourishing Cocoa Butter Moisturizing Cream ($6;00 Whole Foods) is fantastic moisturizer for all over the body, especially on dry hands and feet. It has a whipped consistency and a fairly quick absorbing texture that helps retain moisture and keep skin soft and smooth. The scent was a little bothersome for me though, but that apart its a good one to use if you are looking for a cocoa butter based cream.
The Wheat Germ Vitamin E Hand & Body Lotion ($6; Whole Foods) is another good moisturizer from JASON that I like to use all over the body. It feels more like a lotion and is very fast absorbing. Its a good one for all skin types, especially very dry. The scent is okay, but it does fade pretty soon.
The Rimmel Brow This Way Pomade ($4; target.com) is a brow pomade in a pencil form. Its a tad waxy, helps tame brow hairs in place and the color, Dark Brown is a decent match for my dark hair. It is kind of easy to go overboard with this one, but definitely one I’d recommend if you want a quick fix and have a thicker brows that need very little filling.
The Live Clean Fresh Water Hand Soap ($4.99; target.com) is a very clean smelling, non-drying hand soap. The formula is moisturizing and cleanses well without any residue. A good, basic hand soap to have and fabulous for the price.
The reformulated Insta-Dry Nail Polishes ($4; target.com) and Big Polish Guards ($6; target.com) are both new from Sally Hansen. The polishes are opaque, come in some really beautiful shades and the brush is flat, wide and covers in one stroke. The Big Polish Guards Cuticle Protectors are good if you are messy with your nail polish application and don’t like cleaning up the edges later on. They fit well for the most part, but I did have to be careful while peeling them off since its easy to mess up your polish despite these.
