Maui Moisture makes some really affordable, great quality haircare and their Thicken & Restore + Bamboo Fibers ($8.99 each; target.com) collection is targeted at fine, brittle hair that could use some volume and shine. The Thicken & Restore + range is amazing for my hair type, which is fine, but frizzy and gets oily at the roots easily. The entire range smells fantastic and the scent lingers on for a while. The Shampoo feels more like a moisturizing shampoo that also balances well and washes off clean, no residue or greasy feel. The Conditioner is great to follow up post the shampoo and also not too thick, yet manages to leave my ends feeling softer. Its not a heavy conditioner that does some major detangling, but good for a light, regular conditioner. The Blow Out Mist is fantastic before a blow dry or even while air drying. It helps detangle and adds a bit of volume without making hair too fluffy. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend this collection if you have fine hair that can get frizzy easily, yet needs a volume boost. The shampoo is sulfate-free and the conditioner and mist are silicone-free.
