The Osmosis Color Performance Wear Satin Foundation ($48; osmosisskincare.com) is a vegan, lightweight foundation that comes in five shades. I tried Golden Medium, which is a neutral undertone and is a nearly perfect match for my skintone at the moment. I have lost most of my summer tan and this looks good when applied with a beauty blender since it sheers out the product a little. It was a touch too light for me in the summer though, which is when I tried it out for the first time. Its a thinner texture and quite easy to blend using fingers too. The coverage is medium and buildable without getting too cakey or dry. It is a satin finish and can look flat if you have dry skin or uneven texture, so priming is a must. The formula wore well on me and did not fade too much through the day and it was comfortable for the most part. I do wish that it came in a few more shades, covering a good range of skin tones though. It can be a tad difficult to get a perfect match since there’s a good chance most of us will fall in between two shades.
