Note Cosmetics is a brand new to me and I recently tried out some of their face and eye products. A small selection is available at Ulta, while their website stocks a larger selection and more shades across the products. I love the minimalistic packing on these and overall I was pretty impressed with the quality of the products too.
The Luminous Silk Mono Eyeshadow ($7.99; note cosmetics.com) singles are a satin finish and have very fine, sophisticated shimmer. I tried a couple of the neutral shades and absolutely loved the texture. It is on the sheer side, but I could just swipe these across the lids, add some kohl and mascara for a quick and easy, everyday look. They blend well, don’t crease too much with a primer and have a soft sheen that I love.
The Terracota Blusher ($17.99; notecosmetics.com) is a shimmery, highligting blush. The shimmer is finely milled and I love how versatile the color Sugar Sense is. I could use it as a highligher or a subtle shimmery blush for my skintone. I did have a little bit of a fallout with this, but the product itself was very easy to work with.
The Long Wearing Lipgloss and the Hydra Color Lipgloss ($8.99; notecosmetics.com) are very moisturizing and long wearing for a gloss. I love the pigmentation on these and how comfortable they are. The colors are also very wearable and show up almost like how they look in the tube, when worn alone or layered.
The Mattemoist and Long Wear Lipsticks ($9.99; note cosmetics.com) are both very creamy, satin finish lipsticks. I did not find them to be overly drying or moisturizing, but they felt super comfortable and the darker colors even left a stain behind.
