Edible Beauty is an all-natural Australian skincare brand made from organic ingredients, packaged inside a recyclable dark violet moron glass. The packaging helps preserve the natural ingredients and helps extend their shelf life. I tried a couple of their skincare products - the No.1 Belle Frais Cleansing Milk and the Desert Lime Flawless Micro-Exfoliant, so here are some quick thoughts.
Edible Beauty Belle Frais Cleaning Milk ($33; ediblebeautyaustralia.com) is a really nice, gentle cleanser that I like more as a skin cleanser than makeup remover. Its an ultra thin, lightweight cleansing milk that is great for dry skin. I use a warm washcloth to remove and love how soft it leaves my skin. Since I use this more as a skin cleanser, I keep it for no makeup days or when I have something very minimal. If you are looking for a natural cleansing milk and have combination-dry skin, this is one I’d definitely recommend.
Desert Lime Flawless Micro-Exfoliant ($32; ediblebeautyaustralia.com) is a physical exfoliant, a natural rice grain based face polish and a very gentle one. Its one I like to use after the Cleansing Milk. I don’t use physical exfoliants very often, but this one is very mild and the grains aren’t too big or scratchy, so it works for me. I love the softening effect and how bright it leaves my skin. It does leave a very slight film though which is okay on days my skin feels dry, but otherwise, I do wish it was residue free. That apart, its a good physical exfoliant that isn’t harsh and one that doesn’t have a strong scent.
