The Vernon Francois Lightweight Styling Serum ($28; sephora.com) is an ultra lightweight styling serum for all hair types from very fine to super thick and curly. This one is super lightweight as described and does not weigh my hair down even after a good few uses. I only need the tiniest bit for my now very short hair and I like to use it before styling and on some days, while air drying. It has a really pleasant, woody-musky scent that fades pretty soon and the product itself is perfect if your hair tends to get oily at the roots with styling serums and you want something very light and easy to use. Would highly recommend this if you want a nice detangler & styling serum in one, yet don’t like the heavier, sticky feel that most ones have and leaves hair looking very silky and smooth.
