Makeup, Beauty and More: Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Microfinishing Pressed Powder

The Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Microfinishing Pressed Powder ($37; sephora.com) is a pressed version of their classic Ultra HD Loose version and now comes in three shades. Shade 02 Banana for Medium To Tan Skintones is one that perfect as an under eye setting powder for my skintone and is very lightweight, super blendable and does not look cakey. I prefer using a blending sponge or a fluffy brush, depending upon the coverage I need for this one. It is quite translucent, yet does a good job setting my makeup, adding a soft focus glow, without any flashback. The yellow is tone is great if you have deep set eyes, dark circles and a bit of ashiness since it helps reflect light better. While its a good setting powder for the whole face, I quite like under the eyes and around the chin/mouth area. Its quite a lovely powder to have and the pressed version of it makes it a little more easier, less messier to deal with and does not make my dry skin look look patchy.
