The Pro Blurring Translucent Pressed and Loose Powders ($32; ulta.com) are LORAC’s newest setting powders that and come in loose and pressed versions. They are very finely milled, have a fabulous soft focus finish and blurring quality to them that makes skin looks almost very smooth and flawless. They don’t look ashy on my medium/dark skin tone and set makeup in place very well, keeping it looking fresh for hours. I like the loose version to set my under eye concealer and the pressed version for the entire face. I quite like the convenience of the pressed version more though. I also think a little bit goes a long way with this powder, since it it very finely milled and can make skin look too matte if overdone, especially dry skin. That apart, they are great for setting makeup, midday touchups or if you are looking for a blurring powder in general that won’t look cakey or give you that overly powdery look.
