I’ve been trying out a few of BUXOM’s lip products recently, some my long time favorites and some new to me. The Full On Lip Cream and Lip Polish ($20; sephora.com) have a plumping effect with a tingling sensation and they are very glossy too. The Lip Polishes are shimmery and quite sheer but they are fabulous for layering on top of lipsticks. The Lip Creams are a cream finish, sans shimmer and although sheer, very buildable with a nice pop of color and gloss. Both the BUXOM glosses have a minty flavor to them, quite a strong one. The Big & Sexy Bold Gel Lipsticks ($22; sephora.com) are a full coverage lipstick, in a gel formula that comes in matte and satin finishes. I tried three shades of which, Sultry Mauve is a great everyday nude. The formula is very moisturizing, easy to apply and lasted a good 3-4 hours on me. A great everyday lipstick formula if you like high coverage, yet creamy, moisturizing lipsticks!
