Osmosis is a brand new to me and I recently tried out their Matte Eyeshadow Duos ($27; osmosisskinare.com). They are satin matte duo eyeshadows that come with great color payoff and fabulous blendability. The packaging is nice and the eye shadows themselves are great for any neutral-matte lover. There’s no shimmer, but a very soft satin sheen that makes these not so flat looking. Mystic Mulberry is a purple-plum, Crimson Cream is a rich chocolate-beige and Sienna Dusk is a neutral brown-pale beige. The lighter colors can look a tad ashy on medium-darker skin tones, but the darker colors work really well as subtle washes or can be built up for more intensity. I used a primer with these (MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot) and they lasted a good 5-6 hours, still looking fresh. Overall, if you like matte eyeshades with a creamy, soft powdery texture, these are absolutely worth looking into.
