Baiser Fou ($95; sephora.com) is the newest addition to the Cartier's Baiser fragrance family . Baiser Fou, is a feminine floral, a youthful composition and much lighter, sweeter and less heady than Baiser Vole. The more prominent notes include Raspberry, Purple Orchid, Vanilla and White Chocolate, creating the balmy fragrance of a lipstick. The jeweled bottle, capped with a crimson cabochon is just beautiful, feminine and perfectly suited to the description of the scent. The opening is very fruity, I get lots of the Raspberry mixed in with sweet Vanilla, while the floral notes from the Orchid come through once the fragrance settles down. The dry down is very creamy sweet, lots of the vanilla and white chocolate mixing in with the fruity florals and I definitely get the lipstick vibe, but this one is more of a sophisticated, sweet floral that isn’t too cloying. The staying power is pretty great and the fragrance is something I’d wear all spring/summer and well into early fall.
