Fleur Musc For Her ($100 for 1.6 oz; $124 for 3.3 oz; shop.nordstrom.com) is Narciso Rodriguez’s newest fragrance, a vibrant, bold, passionate floral with notes of Pink Pepper, Rose, Peony, Musk, Patchouli and Amber. The bottle, in a bright, cheerful pink is a gorgeous design, similar to the other fragrances from the line and perfectly fits with the description of the fragrance. Fleur Musc For Her starts off fresh and very floral - lots of the rose, musk and pink pepper are prominent and linger on through the dry down. There’s a bit of the patchouli I can detect, but not a lot of it as it settles down. The rose and musk is what I love the most about most of the Narciso Rodriguez fragrance line, but this one has a certain youthfulness to it that makes it apt for the warmer spring/summer months. It is a notch lighter than the other NR fragrances I have tried, yet packs a strong floral punch that is perfect for a warm, sunny day. The longevity is quite good and is perfect for anyone who loves the rose-musk blend in one fragrance, both of those being the most detectable notes in a sweet, creamy amber base. Overall, if you are looking for a feminine, youthful, yet quite a sophisticated floral, Fleur Musc is absolutely one you should try.
