Rounding up a few fresh skincare finds that I've been loving since the start of the season!
Nyakio Line Smoothing Lip & Eye Cream ($39; ulta.com) and African Black Soap Purifying Mud Mask ($35; ulta.com) - Both fabulous and my very first trial at Nyakio's skincare. The African Black Soap Purifying Mud Mask is an exfoliating and detoxifying mask/scrub that helps get your complexion squeaky clean without stripping. My skin looked a lot more smoother, brighter and felt super soft. The Line Smoothing Lip & Eye Cream is one I love around the lips more than under the eyes. It helps my concealer from getting onto fine lines and keeps the area around my lips comfortable during this transitional weather.
Korres Pomegranate Moisturizing Balancing Cream ($34; sephora.com) - Korres has been off my radar for a few months now, until I recently tried this Pomegranate Moisturizing balancing Cream. Its quite lovely and light in texture and has a nice gel-cream feel that sinks in super quickly. Although I have pretty dry skin, I find this to be moisturizing for daytime when the weather isn’t too dry and cold. The scent is mild and it sits comfortable under makeup too.
Vichy Aqualia Thermal Night Spa ($28; vichyusa.com) is on my nighttime skincare rotation currently and I like to use it about 2-3 times in a week. Its a nice texture - very lightweight, layers well over serums and oils and leaves skin feeling balanced by morning. I do wish the scent was a tad mild, but that apart, its a nice sleeping mask/night time moisturizer for most skin types.
Youth To The PeopleAge Prevention Superfood Eye Cream ($35; sephora.com) - I’ve had great luck with Youth To The People and their fabulously made skincare. The Age Prevention Super Food Eye Cream is their newest launch and fantastic as an under eye cream, especially for my sensitive, milia-prone under eye area. I love how whipped and soft the consistency is and how very light it feels on the under eye area. Definitely feels moisturizing and leaves my under eyes feeling a tad more energized after a few uses. Also layers well under the thickest of concealers.
Kypris Beauty Elixir I - 1000 Roses ($90; kyprisbeauty.com) - Kypris is another luxury skincare brand that I love. Their Beauty Elixir I is a luxuriously formulated face oil that I like as part of my night time routine. It has a relaxing rose scent and the texture is super comforting for my dry skin. I only need a few drops for my face and neck and this one sinks in quickly as well. Absolutely love the packaging and highly recommend if you are looking for a nourishing, brightening facial oil to add to your skincare routine.
