A quick roundup of some really nice under $10 beauty finds that also make for great gifts!
Essence You Can Stand Under My Umbrella ($3.99; ulta.com) is a new limited edition blush for the holidays, its a lovely sheer wash of pink with a matte finish that would flatter a variety of skin tones.
e.l.f makes great under $10 sets, some of which are great gifts for someone just getting into makeup. The Radiant Eyes Kit ($5; ulta.com) - a nice little 5 piece eyeliner set. There were a little bit of inconsistencies with the quality among the five, but for the most part, the colors were very pretty and nice. The Mad For Matte Lip Kit ($10; ulta.com) is a four piece matte lip crayon set - the color selection is beautiful and these have a gorgeous satin finish which I absolutely love! The Brush It Up Kit ($10; ulta.com) is a four piece brush set, all synthetic fibers great for creams and powders. I love the smudge and powder brush - they pick up the right amount of colors and have held up pretty well after multiple washes.
Olivia Garden has a few new travel sized hair brushes for the holidays. The Miniature Holiday Gem Brushes ($3.49 each; ulta.com) are a nice little size to throw into the smallest of makeup bags and don’t create as much static on frizzy, fine hair. They have super soft ball-point tips and special Memory Flex Bristles that don’t snag on dry hair.
Cheeky Salve by Babytime ($9.50; babytimeusa.com) is an all purpose salve made for babies and adults. Its a lightweight, balmy gel that heals nicely and keeps skin super soft and moisturized. The ingredients are 95% organic and the salve itself is multipurpose and can be used on lips, cheeks and even elbows and knees in a pinch. I've been both using it myself and on my son & love it.
Yes to PrimRose Oil Corriander ($3.50; target.com) Liquid Hand Soap is a limited edition hand wash for the Holidays. The scent is amazing and the product itself is non drying, yet manages to leave hands squeaky clean.
