The Candleglow Concealer & Highlighter ($32; sephora.com) is a new addition to Laura Mercer's Candleglow Luminizing complexion line. Its a highlighting concealer that conceals, corrects and brightens. It comes in seven shades, I went with shade 4, which is a touch warm for my skin tone, but corrects nicely, so I pair it with another concealer that’s a touch lighter. I would recommend going one shade lighter though, since the shade range seems to run a tad darker than usual. The product itself is super creamy, has the right consistency to blend and doesn’t cake or settle into fine lines. I love it for the under eye area and love the overall effect especially when its set with Laura Mercier’s Secret Brightening Powder ($25; sephora.com). Secret Brightening Powder is a fantastic one for most concealers, but especially pairs beautifully with this one since they both have brightening, light reflective qualities. The two make for a fabulous pair for when you’re in a hurry and need some quick concealing. I also love the packaging - click to release product and the click mechanism is very controlled so there’s very less product wastage. Overall, if you like medium coverage, creamy, luminous concealers, sans any shimmer, do give this a try - just be sure to try on a shade lighter than your usual. I’m also absolutely loving the new Candleglow Powder - review to come soon!
