The Living Proof Satin Hair Serum and the Madam C.J. Walker Beauty Culture Brassia Seed & Shea Oils Silkening Blowout Cream have been on my haircare product rotation quite a lot this past month. They’re both nice for when you want a smooth and silky blowout since they are designed to work better with heat styling. The Living Proof Satin Hair Serum ($29; sephora.com) is a concentrated hair serum that feels super light and protects hair while blowdrying. It is free of silicones and oils, yet manages to tame frizz, add shine and provide smoothness all without weighing hair down. It also helps quicken the process by cutting styling time quite a bit. The slim glass bottle is stunning. The Madam C.J. Walker Beauty Culture Brassica Seed & Shea Oils Silkening Blow Out Cream ($26; sephora.com) is a cream that has more of a lotion consistency and is also a great heat protectant and detangler. It does have a very strong, sweet scent that lingers on until the next wash, but the cream itself is really lovely when used in conjunction with a blow dryer or any kind of heat styling. It adds a lot of movement and shine, while keeping hair feeling soft and smooth. Overall, if you have hair that goes through a lot of heat styling and gets frizzy pretty easily, do give these two fabulous products a try!
