Lauren B Beauty ($18; netaporter.com) makes some fabulous polishes in unique colors and great textures. Three of them I’m currently loving are Greystone Grey (grey with a hint of shimmer), Where’s My Oscar? (metallic gold) and Downtown Skyline (deep blue-grey with silver shimmer). They are absolutely beautiful colors and the formula was opaque in two thin coats. I had great luck with the drying time and the application was easy. Even the metallics went on pretty smooth and had very minimal streaks. The only thing that I found difficult to work with was the long-ish brush. Its thin, but also quite long and easy to overdo. That apart, these are lovely polishes - vegan, 5-free, shiny even without a top coat on and lasts about 2-3 days before chipping on my nails!
